Trump claims Greenland is now US territory thanks to this deal: false. Trump also claims he’s now able to drill in Greenland for resources: also false. Greenland has strict environmental laws and no one has even attempted to legally drill there for oil since 2021. The only oil company that’s attempting to start the legal permit process now isn’t likely to gain access and if they somehow do it will be many years before they have boots on the ground. So what really happened here? Trump, yet again, made himself and America look exceptionally foolish because he actually believes his own lies. People that are foolish enough to believe politicians at their word are responsible for making us look like a joke. We can’t be the best country again until people realize it’s an earned title and not one simply passed down from previous generations. We have to actually do the work and that’s never going to change.

In Denmark everybody is laughing their heads off. Politicians are doing their best to keep a straight face. 😂 The fact that Trump, MAGA and Fox News are so eager to declare this a big win for DJT is just adorable. Trump won this deal with Denmark in the same way a small child negotiates a bedtime extension from 8:30 to half past eight. The best wins are the ones where the other side does not even understand they lost. Or in the case of DJT, the ego is so fragile that he refuses to understand it.
